about US

As a child growing up in Hawaii, I loved being active outdoors. I consumed myself with many activities such as surfing, hiking, skateboarding, diving, and biking. At the age of 8, I started to compete in football and track & field. From the start of middle school I added basketball and participated in all 3 sports through high school. After graduating, I left home and enrolled at Santa Rosa Junior College in Northern California, where I competed in football and track & field while earning my associate degree. I then transferred to Sonoma State University and started my first year being a full time personal trainer. I graduated with a B.S. in Kinesiology with an emphasis in adult fitness. I moved to Southern California to broaden personal training skills while learning the latest styles and trends in fitness. In 2007 I re-located to the great city of Chicago. Today, along with being a personal trainer, I’m an avid participant of various forms of martial arts; Brazilian jiu-jitsu, muay thai, wrestling, and boxing.

why i became a trainer?

Since a young age I’ve always had a natural gratification of helping people in various aspects of fitness. Since being active has brought me much joy in my life, I wanted to share those positive benefits with others. I loved seeing the ones I’ve helped smile when they started seeing significant progress towards their goals. The strong motivation to help others through fitness was the key reason why I decided to become a personal trainer.
